The main goal of the project:
Promotion of integrated water resources management in the Yalpug river basin.
Expected Project Results:
- Updated Action Plan of the Basin Committee of the Yalpug River for 2020-2021.
- 3 meetings of the Yalpug River Basin Committee, 8 meetings of working groups organized for the rehabilitation of wastewater treatment systems and the treatment of the Yalpug river bed were held.
- An expanded meeting of the Yalpug River Basin Committee, organized with the participation of at least 70 people.
- 2 pages on social networks created by the Yalpug River Basin Committee.
- Sanitary cleaning and planting of trees along the Yalpug river bed (5-7 km.) By the Mayor's Office mun. Comrat.
- A population was involved (at least 1000 people) to protect the Yalpug River through actions to improve the sanitation of the river, planting trees (3800 trees).
Duration of the project: 8 months.
