In February 2020, the cycle of informational seminars continued by the Center for the Identification and Support of Victims of Domestic Violence ”, Comrat, in the educational institutions of the villages of Kazakliya (February 21) and Avdarma (February 28) for parents and teachers. The participants were told about the goals and objectives of the Center to identify and support victims of domestic violence, and then touched on topics such as: “Types of domestic violence. External causes of violence. The causes of violence. The Consequences of Domestic Violence ”(PowerPoint presentation); “The circle of violence. Psychological characteristics of aggressors”, “Law 140 RM. Law 45 RM. The mechanism for resolving acts of domestic violence. Methods of notification. Place of application. Contacts.” At the request of the needy, free services (consultations) of a psychologist and a lawyer were provided.
According to the questionnaire conducted after the seminars, the participants of the events highly appreciated the work of the trainers, and they also expressed the wish to conduct seminars on this topic, including with high school students.

These events were organized by the CSO “Vesta” with the support of the Eastern Europe Foundation from the financial resources provided by the OAK Foundation, as part of the project "The protection and empowerment of victims of domestic violence in the south of Moldova".
